Update

Hello everyone. I am teaching middle school today and am on my lunch break so I thought I would do a quick update. I have sketched out my next plan for my new two page layout but haven't gotten around to creating it yet because I have been watching my nephew. He is getting really big and starting to walk which means he is getting into EVERYTHING. My husband had to move a bunch of his hockey card collection because Lucas was really close to getting into it and destroying it. We have been calling him the destroyer lately because he somehow breaks everything that he touches. But we still love him no matter what. I am hoping to create and get my video done for my next layout on Wednesday. It is going to be a bit different then my last couple layouts because it will be done an a solid base instead of a pattern. I'm really excited to make it and hope you all like it.

Second 2 Page Layout for my Nephew

I just complete the second 2 page layout for my nephews scrapbook album. I really like how it turned out. I used the Stork's Delivery and the Nursery Tails Cricut Cartridges for this layout. I bought some new flowers from Micheal's that worked really well with this page layout. I am in the process of uploading a video for it right now which should be up in the next day or two. Enjoy!

The First 2 Page Layout for my Nephew

I just completed my first two page layout for my nephew's birthday which is on April 4th. I spent hours on this layout because I couldn't figure out exactly how I wanted to design it. Once I finally got my layout and design together it turned out really nice. I am uploading the video for it right now. Enjoy!

In Memory of My Beloved Lacoda

Yesterday I had to say goodbye to the best pet in the world. My precious dog Lacoda. She was 12 years old and was truly the most kind and loving dog I have ever known. She had not been able to keep any food down the past few days so my mom took her to the vet. It turned out that she had a mass in her stomach preventing any food from digesting or going into her system. They said we could have the mass removed for $1500 but it was most likely that she had cancer and would end up dying anyways. My mom decided that she needed to be put down to end her suffering. Me, my sisters, and my mom went down to the vet yesterday to go see her. Since they had put her on an IV earlier she was very perky and happy to see us. It was so very hard. My sisters and I begged my mom not to go through with it but she said it was the right thing to do and had the vet explain everything to us. As we spent our last moments with her in the room my heart just broke. I could not stop crying and all I could think of was why did this have to happen to her. Finally the vet came in to put her down. It was the worst day of my life. I miss her so much and cannot believe that she is gone. I know all dogs go to heaven but it doesn't make it any easier for me to deal with. It is going to take a long time for me to heal from this experience. Watching her slowly fall asleep was the hardest thing that I have ever had to do. I will always love her and she will be in all of my family's hearts.

Boy Birthday Card

I created this quick and cute card before I headed off to work this morning and am uploading it right now. I  used the Stork's Delivery Cricut cartridge which can be purchased at http://ca.mycmsite.com/sites/rebeccalevy It was a very quick and simple card but I really liked how it turned out. I also posted a video today showing my latest haul and talking about what I will be working on next. You can find the video either on my YouTube Channel or on the video section of my blog.

Baby Girl Card

I just finished creating a card for a baby girl. I used the Nursery Tails Cricut Imagine cartridge and I think it turned out really cute. I made the card 5x5 so that I could used a Martha Stewart punch around the page punch. I am just warming up with the baby card because I will be making a scrapbook album for my nephew who will be 1 in a couple of months. For his birthday I'm not buying him any toys or clothes that he will outgrow and destroy. Instead I am making a scrapbook album of his entire first year. I think it will be a great keepsake for him and his parents to have and will be a lot more meaningful then just buying him a toy. So stay tuned because I will be posting some videos and pictures of each page in the album as I create them!

Birthday Card for my Dad

I just finished making a Birthday Card for my dad. His birthday was on February 13th but I wont be seeing him till this weekend. I made a card that also doubles as a gift card holder and tried to make it very masculine. I think it turned out really great. I used the Go Canada Cricut cartridge for this project as well as the Rugged paper collection from Creative Memories which can be found on my site at: http://ca.mycmsite.com/sites/rebeccalevy I am offering  a free Creative Memories Cricut cartridge to the the first person who purchases $150 of merchandise off of my site! Enjoy!

Valentines Day Card #6

Sorry it took me so long to post this. I have been very busy lately and have finally got some free time so I can catch up on some of my posts. I made this card about a week ago. Its really simple and cute. It was super easy to make and I didn't use my Cricut which rarely ever happens when I'm creating cards and layouts. I used a Valentines themed paper pack from Martha Stewart and my iTop Brad Maker for this card. Enjoy!

Valentines Day Card #5

I just finished creating a waterfall Valentines Day card. I am not a huge fan of the inside but I love the outside of the card. I used a variety of stamps and my Cricut Imagine with the Sweethearts cartridge. The strip that holds the stamped images is 2 x 9 1/2 and I scored it at 2, 2 3/4, 3 1/2, & 4 1/4. The bottom squares are 2x2 and the top squares are 1 3/4 x 1 3/4. I hope you like this card! Enjoy!

Creative Memories

Since I first became a consultant I have been really working hard on trying to get some parties together to sell Creative Memories products at. It is definitely difficult trying to get business when you don't know a lot of people in your area. I have been posting ads on Kijiji and advertising it through my YouTube Video's and Twitter but have not got any business yet. Or people can check out my site and purchase items there http://ca.mycmsite.com/sites/rebeccalevy I am not yet ready to give up though. If anyone has any suggestions on other ways to advertise then let me know! Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend! I know I did. I spent time with family, went out for breakfast on Sunday and road a snow mobile for the first time. I will be making more video's this week so keep checking in.

Valentine Scrapbook Page

I just love the holidays, they supply an endless list of craft projects to do. I just created a beautiful two page scrapbook layout using The Best of Life display accents from Creative Memories which can be purchased on my site: http://ca.mycmsite.com/sites/rebeccalevy I used the Sweethearts Cricut cartridge and the rest of the embellishments were from the kit. It turned out better then I had imagined and I was so happy with the final results. I took one of the pages and put it on the Black Magnetic Everyday Display which is can also be purchased on my site. I hope that you love this project as much as I do! Enjoy!

Valentines Day Card #4

I made this card the other day and have already posted a video of it on YouTube. I really like how it turned out. I had a few issues with my stickles though. I accidentally rubbed the stickles on my heart and it smeared the ink colour that was on it so I had to try and figure out a way to cover it up. I ended up using my Martha Stewart glitter and wiped off all the stickles then applied glue and was able to cover up the smeared colour. Enjoy!
